Temperature Tolerance

Need help with setting up the perfect tank for your Tandanus Catfish?

Temperature Tolerance

Postby j_wishbone on Wed Aug 27, 2008 11:41 am

Hi

What is the lowest/highest temperature that a tandanus catfish would tolerate. Ive read that they can tolerate up to 5 degrees celcius?

I ask the question cause Im planning to stock a small outdoor pond with a catfish and an australian bass.

In sydney, we get 0-5 degrees in winter and 40 degrees in summer.

also, is an australian bass a good tankmate?
